Child Safety Event to be conducted
The m.i.l.k. Program

Salt Lake City, Utah (April 29, 2005) - The Salt Lake City Police Department and Farmers Insurance would like to invite the public to attend the annual March of Dimes walk. Farmers will be introducing the m.i.l.k. (Managing Information on Lost Kids) digital ID program at the Hogle Zoo on Saturday, April 30, 2005 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The m.i.l.k. Digital ID is a computer software program designed to provide parents and caregivers a convenient location to store a digital photo and identification information regarding their children. Should a child become lost or missing, with just a click, the m.i.l.k. Digital ID can be printed or sent via email to the proper authorities should an AMBER alert situation arise.

Farmers Insurance will be providing the m.i.l.k. software free to parents along with a digital photo ID of their child and a fingerprint kit.
